It floats delicately away from over-excited children. Each colour it passes is contained within its barely visible sphere. Dark green hedge, pale blue sky and white, bubbling clouds.

22nd June 2013 – paint

It starts out white as a bowl of cream. The machine adds colours – blue, yellow, green, red. Each in exact quantities, calculated to the last millilitre. As it mixes, the perfect blue emerges like magic.
