Two white butterflies float delicately over wildflowers. They flutter around each other in tiny circles and ellipses. The pure beauty of their wings contrasts the subtle colours all around them, making them shine brighter in the summer sunshine.
It rises from the plastic bag looking like a hairy, muddy monster hewn from the earth itself. As I run the vegetable brush down its ridged surface, a pure streak of white appears, as if by magic.
