Tight, woven wicker, painted a soft green by loving hands. Tied with ribbons carrying last messages of love and loss. Held on the shoulders of lovers and friends. Love surrounds us as we say goodbye.

15th August 2013 – couple

Heavily pregnant, she leaves with her shopping bag. Her husband follows her onto their front path. They lean into a familiar hug as he kisses her goodbye. An everyday expression of lasting affection.
