6th June 2013 – slow worms

Two males fight. One has the other by the tail. Living up to their name, they slowly wriggle and writhe. Through all this, the female lies, patiently waiting. A silvery-grey triangle, barely visible on the tarmac path.

23rd April 2013 – St George’s Day

A sunny Spring evening at a village pub. People relax, eating and drinking outside as the sun sets. Two morris dancing sides, one male, one female, dance out our national day with joy and laughter.
