Dark, bubbling red juices seep around the edges. The baked brown topping loosens as the spoon slides in. Its sweet crumbliness joins the sharp berries in a warming taste explosion on a cold winter’s night.

23rd September 2013 – rose
Red and velvet-like, the petals seem dipped in blood, their edges dark and dripping with dew. A last remnant of summer before the autumn sets in.
30th July 2013 – clouds
Fluffy cumulus float across the sky in flocks, like unspun wool waiting to be carded. Behind them nimbus come, dark and water-laden. As the evening darkens, the rain begins to fall.
