12th October 2013 – dancing girl
She throws her head back with laughter as she kicks out with her pink-clad legs. Her fine, blonde hair flies out behind her. Effortlessly, she expresses the joy of the dance.

1st September 2013 – paving

23rd August 2013 – buttons
A cheerful row of red and green, sewn on by my own fair hand. They shine out against the white blouse, a promise of music and dance contained in three colours.

6th August 2013 – street organ
Painted in bright colours, it draws in young and old. As the handle is turned, it reads familiar tunes from punched cardboard strips. A group of tiny wooden morris men dance, play and drink to entertain the crowds.

1st May 2013 – May Morning
The brightly-dressed figures herald the Summer with song and dance, with gratefulness and joy. The sun appears, bright orange glowing in a cloudless sky. It gives them a performance in its turn, as the shapeless landscape transforms into shining life.
