2nd December 2013 – Heathrow
Magnificent structures rise overhead. Floodlit walkways fly over the road, bustling with bewildered travellers. At the heart is Terminal 3, the glowing centre of this busy metropolis.

1st November 2013 – bandstand
Abandoned in the middle of a concrete slab, it looks out over the busy harbour port. Its roof is painted in faded colours, the red white and blue of national pride.

23rd October 2013 – Footbridge
Its concrete structure towers above the busy motorway. The people seem unreal, shadow puppets silhouetted against the brightness of the sky. They pass over it like autumn leaves, insubstantial and soon forgotten.

14th June 2013 – nurses’ station
A blur of happy, chatty activity. The phone rings, the intercom blares, consultants, nurses and theatre porters come and go. Busy as it is, there’s always someone to ask, someone to help.
