5th January 2012 – cushions

Three new blue-and-white-striped cushions on the sofa. Bought to match the brand new curtains they sit, proudly showing their stripes to the world. The whole room seems changed, a new light infusing the brown sofa and chairs, the cream walls. Soon enough I will no longer see them, but for now my eyes are drawn there, enjoying their newness, their glow.
